GTC

All prices are per person.

  • Course cards can only be used on consecutive days.
  • Course extensions are only possible following a course attended, on presentation of the course card and with the signature of the snow sports instructor or instructor.
  • Course tickets are non-transferable and cannot be returned.
  • The Söll-Hochsöll Ski School accepts no liability for accidents that occur during or before ski lessons. Accident and liability insurance is the responsibility of the participants.
  • The Söll-Hochsöll Ski School reserves the right to combine groups.
  • Ski passes and equipment are not included in the course price.

Refunds and cancelations:

  • A refund of payments already made for group courses is only possible in the event of accident, injury or illness on presentation of the original receipt and a medical certificate from a local doctor. The amount to be refunded will be recalculated on the basis of the services actually provided for this period. This will reduce the total amount.
  • In the event of withdrawal during an ongoing service or non-appearance on the agreed date, no refund will be made.

Cancellations:

  • Cancellations for confirmed private ski instructors for long-term bookings must be announced at least 14 days before the start of the course. If the cancellation is made later, the Söll-Hochsöll Ski School is entitled to charge the full daily rate.
  • Cancellations for confirmed private ski instructors for short-term bookings must be announced by 4:00 p.m. the evening before at the latest. If the cancellation is made later, the Söll-Hochsöll Ski School is entitled to charge the full daily rate.
  • Private instructors who are not paid in advance are not fixed bookings!

1 Scope of the GTC

1.1 The following General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply exclusively to business relationships between the Ski School Söll-Hochsöll, Tiroler Skischule Embacher GmbH and the course participant (hereinafter referred to as the “Customer”) in their respective valid version. The valid version of the GTC depends on the time of the relevant booking.

1.2 The object of the contract is the provision of services, in particular the provision of ski lessons (§1 para. 1 T-SSG 1995) and related activities (hereinafter referred to as “courses”). This also includes any childcare services and associated services (e.g. meals for children).

1.3 Provisions deviating from these GTC shall only apply if expressly agreed in writing between the Söll-Hochsöll Ski School and the customer.

2. conclusion of contract

2.1 Course registrations received by the Söll-Hochsöll Ski School by telephone, e-mail or other means of remote communication constitute a legally binding offer to the Söll-Hochsöll Ski School. A contractual relationship only comes into effect once an order confirmation has been sent.

2.2 The customer’s declaration to an employee that they wish to make use of services is a legally binding offer. The contractual relationship shall only come into effect once the service has been paid for and a payment receipt has been issued.

2.3 The Söll-Hochsöll Ski School is not obliged to notify the rejection of course registrations. If no confirmation is received within two weeks, the offer is deemed not to have been accepted.

3. right of withdrawal when concluding a contract via telephone, web form or e-mail

3.1 The services offered are leisure services within the meaning of the Austrian Distance and Off-Premises Selling Act (FAGG).

3.2 For leisure services there is no right of withdrawal according to §18 Abs. 1 Z10 FAGG there is no right of withdrawal.

4. right of withdrawal

4.1 The customer may withdraw from the contract in writing (e-mail is sufficient) under the following conditions.

4.2 In the case of private courses, withdrawal is possible up to 14 days before the start of the course without further obligations.

4.3 In the case of group courses, withdrawal is possible up to 7 days before the start of the course at the latest without further obligations.

4.4 In the event of illness or accident, group courses can be canceled with a medical certificate. The Söll-Hochsöll Ski School will issue a credit note or refund the pro rata amount within 21 days.

4.5 To meet the deadline, the letter of withdrawal must be received by 11:59 p.m. at the latest.

4.6 In the event of quarantine due to COVID-19 in the customer’s country of origin, special cancellation conditions apply (see full GTC).

5. impossibility of performance

5.1 If it is not possible to provide the service for safety reasons (e.g. weather, avalanche danger), the Söll-Hochsöll Ski School is not obliged to provide the service.

5.2 In the event of impossibility of performance, the pro rata remuneration shall be repaid within 21 days.

6 Prices and terms of payment

6.1 All prices are non-binding and in euros (€).

6.2 The course fee is due upon conclusion of the contract. For online bookings, payment can only be made by credit card.

6.3 Default of payment shall occur without further notice. Collection or legal fees may be charged.

7. provision of services

7.1 The Söll-Hochsöll Ski School reserves the right to change meeting points at short notice.

7.2 The customer must arrive at the agreed location on time.

8. limitation of liability

8.1 The Söll-Hochsöll Ski School is not liable for damages, except in the case of personal injury, unless these are based on intent or gross negligence.
