The story of Snowella and her magical ski friends
In a magical winter wonderland, deep in the snowy mountains, lived a friendly snow fairy called Snowella. Snowella was the guardian of winter magic and loved nothing more than to see children skiing. Her home was high up on the Hohe Salve, where the snow always glistened and the mountains looked like something out of a fairy tale.
One day, Snowella decided to do something very special. She wanted to help the children learn to ski in a magical way. With her sparkling wand and a smile on her lips, she flew down to the witches’ children’s land, a place where the magic of winter was particularly strong.
When Snowella arrived at Hexen-Kinderland, many children were already waiting to discover the secrets of skiing. Snowella smiled and said in a gentle voice: “Dear children, I am so happy that you are here! Today I’m going to show you some of my magic tricks so that you can learn to ski with ease.”
Snowella waved her magic wand and suddenly small, glowing sparks appeared, trickling gently onto the children’s skis. “This glitter,” Snowella explained, “will help you keep your balance. Remember to always bend your knees slightly, just like a little wizard preparing to perform his magic.”
The children tried it out and found that they actually skied better with Snowella’s glitter. They laughed and were delighted when they made their first gentle turns.
“Well, my next trick,” said Snowella, “is the art of cornering. Imagine drawing big, magical circles in the snow with your skis. Let the edges of your skis guide the circles and feel how the magic gently pulls you around the bend.”
Once again, the children followed her instructions and, to their surprise, they managed to negotiate the bends almost by themselves. They felt light and safe, as if they were being guided by invisible hands.
Snowella clapped her hands. “You’re doing great! Now comes the most important tip: have fun! The snow under your feet is your friend, so laugh, sing and enjoy every run. You’ll quickly become little ski artists!”
The children were beaming with joy. With Snowella’s help, skiing suddenly didn’t feel so difficult anymore. They knew that they could always think of the friendly snow fairy when they were on their skis.
At the end of the day, Snowella said goodbye to the children. “I have to go back to my mountains,” she said, “but I will always be with you when you ski. And don’t forget: winter is full of magic, and you are now a part of it.”
With one last wave of her magic wand, Snowella climbed onto a sparkling snowflake and disappeared into the glowing clouds above the Hohe Salve. But her magic stayed with the children, who now whizzed down the white slopes safely and with a smile on their faces.
And so it continued in Hexen-Kinderland: everyone who learned to ski there could feel the magic of Snowella, and winter became a time full of joy, fun and unforgettable adventures.
